Catie and Ryan have been together since October 2016. They enjoy fishing, hiking, and camping when the weather permits it. Otherwise, you can catch them going to shows, eating the best food they can find, playing D&D, Hearthstone, Magic the Gathering and various other tabletop games. Catie works for Cox Hospital in Springfield and Ryan works for a locally owned and operated resturaunt and food truck, Skully's. Their families couldn't be happier about them being together.

Proposal
Ryan brought me along on a family trip to Table Rock Lake. We fished all day and in the evening we watched a movie in the cabin we were staying at. To get some alone time, Ryan asked me if I wanted to go back outside and fish some more. I thought it sounded like a great idea since my only catch that day broke my line as we hoisted it onto the dock—I was more than ready to catch another big one. The moon was high and I was just super concentrated on casting when Ryan said he was going to put a different lure on. After a few seconds of rustling in the tackle box behind me, he asked, “what do you think about this one?” I turned around, perplexed why he needed my input, and found him on one knee with his grandmother's ring. Obviously I caught something much better than a fish.
